Hope Explosion Back to School Project A little girl, Jessica, knocks on the door to her friend's house. She anxiously asks her friend, when the door opens, "can you come outside so we can play?" Her friend equally excited replies, "my mom is getting ready to take me shopping for my new school supplies!" Jessica slowly walks away from the house, as her friend and her family drive away. The disappointment clearly shows on Jessica's face. The disappointment is not because her friend could not play outside, but because Jessica knows there will be no new school supplies for her this year. Hope Explosion Back to School Project helped Jessica last year. But, there are so many like Jessica that still need help. If you have a heart for giving and a commitment to youth education, please consider selecting how many students like Jessica you can help with supplies. Our goal is over 400 this year. Hope Explosion Project is a collaboration venture of Hope United Methodist Missions Ministry and other outreach friends coming together to stamp out the need for educational supplies to homeless and disadvantage children in Wayne and Oakland County, Michigan.
