Over 100,000 children in Central Texas are “at-risk” of dropping out of school. 
This means facing challenges such as poverty, violence, or hunger.  Students who face such burdens should not also have to face class without basic school supplies. For students served by Communities In Schools of Central Texas (CIS), walking into class more prepared can make a huge difference!

A $20 donation provides a CIS student with a backpack and a full set of school supplies. For just $5 more, a personal hygiene kit can be added to their backpack.   
Your donation will help our students to start the school year more prepared and ready to learn.

• Last year, 99% of students served intensively completed the school year
• 92% of students served intensively advanced to next grade level or graduated
