| Mission Lubbock Do you remember how excited you were when you started the first day of school with shiny new pencils, a new tablet, a brand new box of crayons, and your very own backpack? Unfortunately, many children in and around the Lubbock area don’t get to experience that excitement. Often families have just enough income to pay the rent and utilities, and there is nothing left to purchase new school supplies. Again this year, Mission Lubbock is asking for your help in providing school supplies and backpacks for children and youth living in and around the Lubbock area. Many of these children come from single parent families, and from families whose parents have recently lost their jobs. You can make a difference in the lives of these children by providing basic supplies for the upcoming school year. Mission Lubbock has partnered with Kits for Kidz to provide churches, organizations and individuals an easy, affordable way to offer support. With just a few clicks, you can purchase a school supply kit and backpack, and help a student start the new school year off right.
