Teradata Cares Group Philanthropic Event Back to School Supply Drive "Teradata Cares gathers the basics for needy students" Last year, as part of Teradata’s commitment to education, Teradata employees and customers contributed school supplies to over 500 children in Atlanta, San Diego, El Segundo, and Las Vegas. This year, in conjunction with the Teradata Days of Caring in August, we are inviting all Teradata employees to help children in need. Working with Kits for Kidz, Teradata is partnering with local agencies in Dayton, San Diego and Raleigh for our 2009 Back to School drive to benefit needy children. Each year, we will select different cities to support. Your contribution to this cause will arm these underprivileged students with a kit of new school supplies to begin the new school year, just like you would prepare your own child, niece or nephew. This program is open to all Teradata employees, friends and families. We encourage your participation to make a difference in the lives of these children. The drive will be open from August 1 through August 31, 2009. Please don't delay your participation! Help an underprivileged child achieve success in school this year by providing a new backpack filled with school supplies. Your donation of $21, $13 or even just $8 can outfit a student with supplies for an entire school year. Think about it: • That’s a week of lattes at your local coffee shop • It’s less than a date night at the movies • It’s less than the cost of lunch for a week Ordering is very simple. Just select one of the kits below. Determine if you want to support one student or more by selecting the quantity and products you wish to order. You can even choose which city to direct your donation too. Provide your credit card number on the secured web site and that’s it. The kits will arrive at the school – prepared, packaged and ready for the students to enjoy. To participate, simply place an order of one or more of the already prepackaged school supply items below.
